These Bamboo Poles -Lot of (2) Giant Flamed Bamboo Poles (4.0" dia x 1'-7' length) come from a 30 year old Bamboo grove with over 40 different varieties of bamboo. Our bamboo is harvested from these varieties that are located and grown in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in South Carolina.   We sell and ship to continental USA only.

Upon request, we will cut node-to-node for splinter reduction as well as strength and uniform appearance.  Node to node lengths may vary depending on each individual bamboo and where the nodes occur along the selected span.  As a result, the actual finished lengths will vary up to 2" to 4" plus or minus.

These Bamboo Poles -Lot of (2) Giant Flamed Bamboo Poles (4.0" dia x 1'-7' length) are cured thru a combination of sun and flame. The flaming process creates the unique colors and glossy polished finish of the poles. Every piece of bamboo is different. The diameter of a pole will normally decrease from bottom to top by app. 1/16" for each foot of length. The color and darkness of each piece varies due to the time of harvesting, the sun curing and the flaming process. Our photos are taken outside in natural sun light. The poles may appear darker inside as a result of interior lighting. Photos on our shop are representative of the items you will receive.

Each piece of bamboo is unique in several ways:
1) the diameter of the poles decreases from bottom to top by app. 1/16" per foot
2) the distance between the nodes varies from piece to piece
3) each pole reacts differently to the flame curing process creating vary colors and patterns
